Elsword raven
Hell, melee and even Aisha can high jump for the most part to gain the same elevation as Rena's Double jump. Their only options would be to teleport (which costs mana, on top of it being predictable because its static on where your landing location is AND it has no safe frames upon landing) or to quick drop with a stomp to minimize air time. They can't change their momentum after jumping without sacrificing speed (and at that point, they're incredibly vulnerable). Rena and Aisha (who have double jump and teleport respectively, since you mentioned that) are not capable of being that sort of movement in the air. Passives are part of the character, and should be included when you're analyzing a class based on what they are capable of.Īnd read what I said above for his mobility.

12% chance to reflect projectiles (certain characters rely entirely on projectiles for comboing), 13% chance to strafe if attacked from behind (some characters have combo inputs or skills that count as "hitting from behind" because of it's disjointed hitbox), 66% reduction on debuffs including stuns (which renders some skills useless and actually gives them a free catch over you, and this is especially the issue when Add comes out for us). Just saying it's not easy being a Raven not to mention mostly being close combat oriented so, we have to give other players a hard time, we don't have teleport powers like Aisha, or Double jump skills like Rena, but just like any other character it takes work and effort.Ĭonsider the passives, especially for PvP and PvE, because most of them are pretty damn absurd for what they do. Let's not go into Passive skills because every character has there own unique things about them and basically saying anything about them would waste some time. Especially in a game where everyone (including Raven, on top of it boosting his damage to absurd levels) has awakening which is essentially a free catch.
Attacking range is almost a nonissue with regards to skill, because Raven (and by extension, Elsword and Chung) have a much more flexible approaching mobility style that lets them make approaches or pull out of a defensive catch. But in this sort of game, that's incredibly minimized because of just how much damage is going out, and how very little effort, even repetition is required to be effective. When I think of skill, its more into reading your opponent and making smart choices on the go to catch or avoid getting caught. What loops do they actually need to use tell me? Raven's most efficent loops are ZZX, while BM has access to ZZZX >^

In a game like this it's not much of skill, but knowing how to use your character and mastering there combos abilities etc.
